Do I need to book an appointment to view and try on engagement rings?

We would love to be able to take you through our engagement ring collection. We know choosing your engagement ring or wedding bands is a special moment in a couple’s life. It is for that reason we would like to welcome you any day of the week to our boutique store.

  1. We are open seven days a week, and welcome a walk-in service.
  2. We do not close for lunch and our team is available anytime to chat during the stores opening hours.
  3. We have over 500 fully set rings ready to view in store.
  4. For customers travelling from other parts of the country, we recommend contacting us on [email protected] and booking a complimentary consultation with one of our diamond consultants one day prior to you visit.

What is your returns policy?

For Online Orders we operate a 14 day Refund / Exchange policy
All goods must be returned unworn, in original packaging, in original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Do you offer a repairs service?

All of our rings are designed and created in our Dublin based workshop. Our team take pride in the work we produce and offer a guarantee in case you ever experience any issues with your ring.

  1. Any repairs will be carried out free of charge if the ring had an issue due to how it was made.
  2. Our repairs service is also available for rings which have been damaged due to external factors for a nominal fee.
  3. You will only be charged the cost of the materials or labour.

Do you offer an engraving service?

Yes, we offer our own in-house engraving service.

  1. We offer a standard engraving in a popular font with up to twenty characters for a set price of €25.
  2. We offer a premium engraving service for those who are looking to customise a piece. For an accurate price on this service please contact our team at [email protected].

What ring sizes do you offer?

All rings fully set on store come in the industry standard size K-M.

Each ring can be easily adjusted 2-3 sizes within 3-5 days.

For bespoke sized ring, please allow up to 4 weeks to be made especially for you.

What ring size should I order?

If you are purchasing a ring for a proposal or a gift and are unsure of the ring size, we recommend a size US 6 / UK L, our most popular size and nearly always a perfect fit.

Still uncertain? We offer a 14 days returns / exchange policy so if you do not get the perfect size you can always exchange it.

Do you make bespoke sizes and necklace lengths?

Absolutely, we would love to tailor make a piece for your size.

  1. Each necklace comes in a standard length which is stated in the description section of the selected item.
  2. For a different necklace length, please contact us on [email protected] or 014422472 before your purchase for an updated quote.

How do I choose an engagement ring size for my partner?

At Commins & Co, we understand finding out the ring size for the one you love without them finding out can be a tough ask! That is why all of our rings can be resized if ordered in the incorrect finger size. If in doubt of the size, we always recommend going slightly larger than smaller. This should guarantee the ring sliding onto the finger when proposing and can then be altered without charge afterwards.

How can I track the delivery of my order?

If the item you purchased is in stock it will be shipped out to you within one day of purchase.

You can contact our team on [email protected] for an update on your order or to request the unique tracking number for your order to enable you to track it yourself.

How can I clean my ring?

We take great pride in the diamonds and gemstones we source and sell to our beloved customers. That is why we offer each and very customer a life time free ring cleaning service. This service can be availed of seven days a week from within our store and only take a couple of minutes to freshen up those beautiful gems.

What are your estimated delivery times?

Once your piece is dispatched the estimated delivery times are as follows:

  1. Ireland: 3-5 working day1
  2. UK: 5-7 working days
  3. Europe: 5-7 working days
  4. USA: 7-10 working days
  5. Australia: 10-12 working days
  6. Rest of the World: 10-12 working days

Need something sooner? We do also provide DHL express shipping:

  1. Ireland: 1-2 working days
  2. UK: 1-2 working days
  3. Europe: working 2-3 days
  4. USA: working 2-3 days
  5. Australia: working days 6-9 days

If you require the piece for a specific date please let our team know and we will work towards the date requested.

Is my parcel / order insured?

All items purchased are insured to the point of delivery.

If the item is damaged or lost in transit it will be replaced / remade free of charge.

In the unlikely event of this occurring, please allow up to four weeks for the item to be remade.

Can I custom design an engagement ring?

What is GIA, HRD and IGI certificates?

A Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD), or International Gemological Institute (IGI) ensures the value and quality of the diamond you purchase. These certified entities are the gold standard in diamond grading. Their reports identify the key characteristics of your diamond.

Should I choose a lab created diamond over a natural diamond?

This depends on what you are looking for. Both lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds purchased from Commins & Co are conflict free and will vary in their diamond grading. Lab-grown diamonds allow you to maximise the size of your stone for your budget, offering up to a 30% increase in size for the same price, while natural diamonds are incredible works of nature and the traditional choice.
